Unit that is indeed a conundrum with regards to Submariners height. Fortunately I come from a very long line of people who may be called 'height challenged' at 5' 6'' I am to my certain knowledge the tallest member of my immediate family by an inch or two, which would have certain benefits in the service for my forebears I'm sure }
Jack I apologise for the use of 'Big Man' it was uncalled for. However, for the life of me I can not understand anyone who could support either the use or threat of using indiscriminate weapons of mass destruction, real ones, not pretendy ones as an excuse to steal a country's natural wealth and in the process bring unimaginable horrors on the innocent to ensure a select few amass wealth. You're right in regard to the fire bombing campaigns of course.
Dinosour my point about the codes is this, the so called independant deterent is nothing of the sort. The USA who supply the weapons also supply the codes. For me at a time when we are returning to a quality of life that Dickens would be proud to record the need to have these very expensive obscenities so that willy waving can continue is beyond belief.
