The IfA template palces the focus on your development (as in D) - this would tehrefore exclude top up/ routine stuff like inductions. The key steps are: to review what you currently do/ know, then decide what you should know in orderr to do your current job better or your nect job, then identify some way to gain that knowldge (reading / courses / conferences / mentoring / research). The log itself is a record of your activities, importatnly including some reflection on what you learnt.
