In answer to the Devils Apricot the IFA is simply creating data as it did in profiling the profession. Helping people who are not members may just encourage them to join.

I'm an archaeological employer and a member of the IfA. What qualifies you to get the information and also how does one gain access to SCAUM? Can you just join or do you have to be asked? Does it depend on the size of organisation - i.e. only the biggest units get a look in (sorry, a bit of cynicism snuck in there)
Edit - sorry, should have just looked at their website, although it doesn't give much information about joining requirements.
