Agree entirely. As an ex animal rights campaigner, I`ve seen the persecution of this beautiful animal from the front row. In my view, the greatest threat to this species is limp and diluted legislation (Badger Act) and morons with spades, pits and dogs. Not to mention farmers and government "scientists" with convoluted views on TB and lucrative subsidies. There`s more in common between the plight of this badger and the plight of archaeology/ists than you think!
