Am ploughing on through the snags..
If Dan is listening, he may want to reconsider the alt tags for the images
for example the photos at the top... the alt and title tags are non descriptive..
so for example a photo that says "British Archaeological Awards 2006" actually shows "Mick Aston with 'someone else', 'looking somewhere', while at the British Archaeological Awards 2006" etc..
or the "Surveying at Wharram, East Yorkshire. University of York" shows "University of York students and staff in a large stubble field beneath a cloudy sky doing surveying at Wharram, East Yorkshire"
Not sure if that is still a requirement for photographic description. but something to think about, as visually impaired people would make little sense of the image description in most cases. Will be going through mine as well. as you have quite rightly flagged up an issue... and perhaps both the CBA and BAJR websites should be as good as they can be.
