They must be rubbish then!
I'm lucky in that I have a stash of old types that should last me the rest of my career. Not telling which Quango I acquired them from.

Have talked recently with WHS and the 'new' old trowel will be ready for field testing in the next 2 weeks.
Another day another WSI?

A certain female owner of an archaeology company from the West country claims " a trowel is only any use for cleaning a mattock and spade".

Thought I'd check Ebay to see if anyone was flogging an old one, doesn't appear so, but someone called archaeologycymru is selling two of the newer ones for ?12, and a whole host of other crap!

Any news on the "archaeology trowels" yet sir? My employer has replaced the last one that snapped with a brand new shiny one.It bent today. That makes 3 in as many months.Or indeed four-can`t remember.

Hi guys
Just to keep you all in the loop.
We had a meeting with Spear & Jackson this week and we are pushing them to get the roll-out date sooner then late Spring. From the feedback we have had, most of you want to get your hands on these ASAP to make sure they are ok for your summer digging.
Prices are likely to be much the same as they are on
http://www.getatrowel.co.uk now, possibly a few pence more.
If anyone has any questions in the meantime, feel free to reply here or contact via this page:

Cheers
