kind of difficult to do that beforehand

however, if the advert states "minimum 6 month contract" then I would follow it up if told about it. Of course my psychic abilities are not as good as they sued
(I think I meant seemed - though perhaps it was a freudian slip) to be, so I do need to be told...and there has to be a reasonable answer. IF you have anything more than rumour, then please get in touch..

Ok, there are a couple of very recent cases where I should be able to get more info or contact the people (who I've not actually met, mates of a colleague) and get them to send something. People shouldn't really be allowed to get away with advertising work that they haven't actually secured, especially if it's resulting in people ending up unemployed when they needn't have been, makes me just ever so slightly annoyed, its a hard enough life being a digger as it is

I'll await the evidence then. Then we can find out what really happened - I thought you said one was from one of your jobs? this person will be easy to find I expect.
I take it you understand that word of mouth friend of a mate type stories are hard to pin down. What would you have BAJR do to ensure this does not happen?

Well said by both Kevin and GnomeKing.
The problem does not lie within the right to have free movement within the EU, the problem is with unscrupulous "home grown" employers who exploit the fact that many folk from the eastern fringes of the EU will work their socks off for less than "home grown" workers would find acceptable. Unionisation, unionisation, unionisation, that should become a mantra drummed in.

Just make a note of any cases that you hear about - if there's a pattern, take action, if there isn't then don't :face-approve:
Have passed on a message, hopefully the reputed victims will make themselves known to you
Ok, enough of this short detour, back to the Dino kicking....:face-crying:

My personal fear for the future is that we realise that we've dug all of the archaeology in the UK, and have to go out and get "proper jobs" :0

'Sok, have done several jobs over the last few years that have featured old archaeological trenches. When we've dug everything we can go back and score how we did the first time, just don't tell anyone :face-angel:
