Billlllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Blimey I could think of a few people who would look good stretched and un moisturised!! (hey if you did not watch Dr Who then thats your fault!)
I will have to consider my approach to this.
A vote perhaps. but it will need to be overwhelming.
I feel that the advert is there.. the knowledge of the striking off is well known (thanks to the Digger and BAJR) and so it could be up to teh diggers to decided whether or not to work for them or not.
choices!! and heavy editing!

If AS are removed from the BAJR list due to the loss of their RAO status, then surely all other units who not have RAO status should also be removed. Inclusion in the BAJR directory would have to be subject to IFA registration. Would this rule then have to be extended to individuals on the CV list?

All a bit academic really. AS still haven't changed their website, nor, I suspect, their letterheads, much less informed their clients. How much will expulsion matter if no-one is aware of it?
from the Digger:
"There have also been 13 formal complaints about six IFA Registered Archaeological Organisations (RAOs). Eight of these were partially or fully upheld and several are pending"
Which eight are these? Which are pending? Who knows?

They haven't changed the letter heads and are still letting clients work under the assumption that they are registered. However, the Hertfordshire County Council Archaeology office has removed their name from the Councils approved list and is letting prospective clients know. I dnot know details of why AS have been removed but to my certain knowledge the Archaeology office seem to be letting developers know when arch conditions are placed.

Think moley needs new specs! I received a letter off them yesterday and there is no IFA logo on the stationery. Still investing in ppl tho. As for the website well the logo has gone off that too. Well done BAJR!

The logo has gone from the site, but the Company Profile page still states that they are an RAO. In fact, they make quite a big thing of it at the start of that page. I wonder if they will get around to changing that too?

The logo removal from the website is very recent then as it was still there on Tuesday when I had a look.

Sorry, a bit late to get on to this thread, but, isn't AS being struck off the RAO list for not providing correct information at application a bit like Al Capone being charged with tax evasion?!
I realise there are people in the organisation that are trying to make changes, but there are so many bad stories that this is surely not before time?

They must be doing ok as they are advertising for staff on the BAJR thing.
PS the logo has gone from the website but the text still refers to them being an RAO.

Yup... they are advertising... and BAJRs position is one of neutrality. As long as they pay the pay and keep to teh conditions. then they can advertise. It is up to teh IFa to deal fully with teh RAO text if they so choose.
