I think one of the bigger bits look like it might be burnt bone (extremely light) and the smaller bits have have a white glassy appearance on the outside and are quite bubbly and very light.

Cramp has been found on the Shetlands or Orkney, but can't remember pricesly which (report was from the 1930s). I do wonder, as already mentioned, if this is lightning strikes. There is a useful Powerpoint presentation here:
