I'm only happy when it rains.... [:p]
"Back on the chain gang" has long been a personal favourite.
Once when working for a particularly autocratic female boss we rewrote some of the words to "Little miss can't be wrong" which cheered us up.
Though my current number one line is from the Hives' "Walk idiot walk"....

So I'm sad enough to have checked my record collection...
Cities in Dust by Siouxsie and the Banshees (destruction of Pompeii) and Gak Mummy #1 by Ian McNabb (traces of cocaine found in Egyptian mummies).
Bit of class...
I reject your reality and substitute my own

Roy Harper sings about "archaeology" and a "neolithic long barrow" on "Another day in England".
I think Julian Cope sang about archaeology probably on "Peggy Suicide" or "Carmageddon" before or during the time he wrote "The modern Antiquarian".
"They're coming to take me away (Ha Ha)" by Emperor Napoleon 13th.
"Is that all there is" Artist (female) unknown.
"There's a Planet in my Kitchen" Siouxie and the Bansheesn. In fact everything by Siouxie/the Creatures
Anything by Hawkwind/Bob Calvert/Lemmy/Nick Turner/Pink Fairies/Motorhead.
"Never Mind the Bollocks" Sex Pistols
"Live Alive" The Ramones
All Ozzy/Dio period Black Sabbath and Randy Rhoads/Jake E Lee/Zakk Wilde solo Ozzy.
The Judas Priest Box set. 12 albums of air guitar Riffmania heaven
"Killer on the loose" (live Version)by Thin Lizzy for THAT note of Les Paul/Marshall stack feedback in the solo.
Peter Green period "Fleetwood Mac", "Homework" for THAT note in the beginning of the solo
The Gong "Flying Teapot" trilogy and all solo Steve Hillage stuff
All the "Jefferson Airplane/Starship" stuff "Baron Von Tollbooth and the Chrome Nun" and Sunfighter" by Kantner/Slick are very good
