Can`t claim the idea as my own- saw it on a t-shirt once, simply said
"Archaeology-a career in ruins". Much applause for whoever came up with that! I would very much hope that we can agree to include the word "profession" as I feel strongly that there are issues in desperate need of airing alongside those relating to pay/conditions/career etc.... better than "archaeologists do it on all fours" or "archaeologists like it deep and dirty..."
