Anyone looked at Conservapedia (right wing version of Wikipedia)yet? Searching for archaeology leads straight to a Creationist text. That was a surprise.

Can't seem to get to it - I can find several blogs etc. talking about Conservapedia, but none of the links to the actual site seem to work.
What's the web address?

I just Googled it - doing so again comes up with
http://www.conservapedia.com/
Looking at the article in the Guardian, one of the reasons they don't like Wikipedia (apart from the 'liberal bias' and the fact that Wikipedia editors keep removing edits by nutjobs) is that it uses too much 'British' spelling. Send em to BAJR - free-form spelling in use here (might be too liberal for them, though)
Actually, this link doesn't work - praps they have a filter to keep out the godless. Just Google!

Apparently, the site has been taken down and (temporarily) removed from the google cache due to excessive interest :face-huh:

1984
Quote:quote:1984 was a book by George Orwell. 1984 describes an alternate history in which Oceania (Australia) is at war with Eurasia. It is a utopian book because it talks about a place where everyone is watched over by Big Brother, who makes sure people are doing what they are supposed to.
The protagonist is Winston Smith. Thre is something about rats at the end, but it is confusing. The end is probably supposed to be ambigous.
Stone Age
Quote:quote:The Stone age is the prehistoric time before the Age of Metal. It is divided into two parts; Paleolithic and Neolithic. During the Paleolithic age, man harvested wild plants and animals for food. Agriculture began in the Neolithic age. The dates of the Stone age are debated. Biased historians often give older dates than can be proven by archaeology.

Of course you need to use the American spelling of archaeology. Losing the second 'a' takes you, no beating about the bush here, to how we have proved the gospel truth of the gospels.
