Sorry about any weird things that may appear, dissappear and change on BAJR at the moment... am creating BAJR 2.5 a bit of a refresh of the whole site..

A service provided at no cost to the user has to be paid for by somebody, advertisements are a minor annoyance when balanced against what BAJR provides.

I am just testing out adverts.. I had stayed away from them.. but then.. as long as they are not intrusive.. (sorry about the plethora.. but I am seeing which area of the page they are best)
As Oz says.. I need to pay da bills... and giving up my council job in March will leave a dent... so have to fill it somewhere
I have been talked into it (by a friend) as the ad is there and its up to the user to decide whether to click.. oh... the money is rolling in
(aye right!) however, it does help.

Part of the 'New' BAJR is a focus on user generated and web technologies...
One thing I am very interested in just now is looking at Archaeology from a different perspective... using Art, sound and images to portray archaeology
