Many apologies for the disruption to services

This turned out to worse than I could ever have imagined.. The hosting company (simple servers) I was with.. first started by wiping 5 days worth of posts and articles from my databases... 'by mistake' and then went on to go under without warning. Fortunately I was suspicious and had grabbed most of my site.. however, I then had to try and get my domain back... change hosts, rebuild and re install... so that you would notice nothing...

It broke my heart... but if BAJR is anything.. it is persistent and sleepless!

I am back.. and although there are a few bits missing... I have tried to recover everything I could...

I am now with a good host.. and this should just be a terrifying lesson on backups and other nightmares.

So... apologies for this loss of service. but as you can see, it is back and cutting to the heart again!

Thank you... I'll tell you... between helping MAggie upload Past Horizons, the BAJR Fed going down (and pulling out of a nose dive) and helping to get this unionisation initiative going.. plus a few other little things...! :o)

stressful.. pah... I eat stress for breakfast and wash it down with bitter tears..

seriously though.. it was pretty hairy! imagine losing 6 years of work! and only a blank screen.. saying server error :0 I managed to patch it together from bits and pieces and my own backups and a few thread notifications and images.. phew... I felt sick! But hey... I can laugh now! :p
