people fail on some obvious things if they don't check out the info first - eg fire hydrant colours...electric cables...etc ---stuff one would do well to know anyway really...
seen a few failures resulting from over cockiness, and once from unredeemable dunderheadedness - so there you go...

Culture around here is that since anyone with a brain can't fail it's done against the clock - don't actually know what the current leading time is but it was well under 10 minutes when I did it a few years back.....and no, the fire extinguisher colours aren't essential, they'd just changed the labelling system and we only spotted the poster explaining it on the way out of the test centre..... :face-crying:

Here it seems to be about 5-7mins for operative level.

Sounds about right, do your guys actually get to see the crib-disk first? - bit of an ommision when I did it....enjoyed going through it after though
