So in general the idea of CHartered Archaeologists seems to be approved of... with the caveat that it may be a case of wearing a royal crown while the estate is in crumbling ruin

In due course, perhaps, but the present proposal is for the Institute to become Chartered, not individuals.

I certainly hope Uo1 exists, had been looking forward to an entertaining evening in a pub somewhere sometime in the future! (hopefully with a translator and some lawyers)
