So in general the idea of CHartered Archaeologists seems to be approved of... with the caveat that it may be a case of wearing a royal crown while the estate is in crumbling ruin

In due course, perhaps, but the present proposal is for the Institute to become Chartered, not individuals.

The Council of the Institute is now seeking members guidance regarding the draft Charter and by-laws.

Members are also invited to take part in a consultation workshop at the AGM at 13:00 on 8 October 2012. you cant get to the daft consultationcharter without being a memeber
