I hope someone in "authority" (whoever it may be) are keeping a keen eye on their antiquities! Don't really want to see a repeat of the (alleged) stealing to order which happened with the fall of Baghdad...

at first last night concerned citizens assisted army in protecting the museum - especially as fire had been lit in ruling party offices nearby....
however it seems that today this protection may have broken down amidst general confusion. ...
