Watch out for your liver Mr D, paracetamol and alcohol do not mix!!!!!!!. I have a life long friend who is a pharmacist, you do not want to know the damage you can do to yourself with over the counter drugs and alcohol in the wrong combinations. Oohh and never ever drink the punch at a pharmacists' party ( They have access to rare and unusual forms of alcohol only dreamed off by the rest of us)

Thank you for your warning. But I think my liver was shot quite a few years ago; I'd be disappointed fit wasn't considering the investment I have put into it over the years!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Merlot in one hand, Cigar in the other; body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO, what a ride!

Drink!
Any drink. Really.
Erm, maybe I should specify one that is fresh from the bottle..... other than that, no Avocrap or anything that old ladies would find suitable. Thank you.

Most of the "old" ladies of my aquaintance are very partial to a drop of the hard stuff, or anything that comes their way as a freebie

Yeah, don't diss the little old lady. My Granny has a drinks cabinet that'd make the average whisky connisseur weep with envy.
My advice? Watch the little old ladies at the bar/supermarket drinks aisle and see what they end up with. It'll generally contain enough alcohol to set your socks on fire, disinfect a Crimean War hospital and strip paint simultaneously, whilst being on some kind of "2 for 1" special offer.

I am an old lady! And a granny. I still won't drink that Advocrap, sweet sherry or anything that reeks of perfume or crocheted doilies.
Crimean paint stripper? Mine's a double.

No. It's a bit late, as you asked yesterday but here's a retroactive pint of rum. Would you like a dead man's chest to sit on whilst quaffing?
