The "mark all forums as read" option is buggy. I used it some days ago, but when I logged in to the forum today it has still marked all forums and threads as read -- even though there are definitely new posts.
Kinda makes it difficult to keep track, I have to read all the subjects and some threads just to identify the new posts since I last logged in...

What's New doesn't give any results in this case, since no threads/posts are showing as unread. After I've logged in again the read/unread status resets to normal, so new posts are then showing up.

ah.. that may be it... beyond me how to fix that.
Login within teh forum and all should be well. (rather than from teh front page.)

I'm a web developer by profession, working primarily in PHP and SQL...so I could probably find and provide a solution for the bug if you want a hand.

Did it again: logged on just now and there were new posts that were marked as read.
This time I hadn't even used the "Mark all forums read" feature on my last login...

This bug with forums and threads not highlighting new posts continues to occur daily.

That page displays nothing when there are no "new" threads showing up. i.e. it displays the same (lack of) information.

Baffled, as it all works for me.
