Have just agreed to be the referee of a person wanting this - This is a stepping stone post - and think of it as really learning what it takes to be a field archaeologist. I will always support Hungate ( I am a YAT digger through and through) so as opposed to intern this is a learning environment, where you are paired with Trainers to assist newbies. Mentor springs to mind. and they really do mean enough to get on the first rung of the the archaeology ladder
