I have jsut had a long and enjoyable conversation from Kevin at CatsCo.. ps... he is having trouble with the email jsut now, so anyone who has had emails bounce back it is digatcats@aol.com - a link will be put up soon.. (see.. no problem there with a link to a legit, responsible company who has provided a service for over 10 years) he confirmed that the text about tools (although now badly edited) was his.. he was not happy.. and agreed that I could state that. the taglines as well, were his.
Another update is that the IFA jobs have now been removed from the site.. so no more bearded Henry VIII jobs to grab I am sure that Adam from Aerial Cam is also going to make a comment. Needless to say, this has all been rather unpleasant (and funny as well!) - lets see where it goes next.. its like an episode of Eastenders (or Bonekickers) where you sit with jaw open, wondering ... What the ########!! Anyway... remember.. if you need to contact CatsCo.. digatcats@aol.com "I don't have an archaeological imagination.." Borekickers

Dave you could always try standing on the box in that case.

Sounds like standing on a toolroll might be a bit of a climb
I look at my old toolbox.. boy that was a comfy seat, but a big lump to carry about. "I don't have an archaeological imagination.." Borekickers

Have been told by another person who had text taken the following info
Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 updated in December 2006. It is the law in the UK for commercial sites: The name, geographic address and email address of the service provider. The name of the organisation with which the customer is contracting must be given. This might differ from the trading name. Any such difference should be explained â e.g. "XYZ.com is the trading name of XYZ Enterprises Limited." It is not sufficient to include a 'contact us' form without also providing an email address and geographic address somewhere easily accessible on the site. A PO Box is unlikely to suffice as a geographic address; but a registered office address would. If the business is a company, the registered office address must be included. A telephone number is also a comfort to people... though not required, it shows you are open to people contacting you (though that does not mean the person who will remain nameless that phoned me on my mobile in Jordan to order finds bags !! ) Also, if you are charging VAT, again, by law, you must state on your website the VAT Reg number

Thanks... I think they may be grateful to us in the end... they have now added their address in Stevenage - which will be the registered address of the company. I have the phone number if needs be. (but they don't expressly need that on the website).
I am glad they are getting sorted out, and we are doing our best to help them. Though the spelling and weird concepts on archaeology - I can't be bothered to help on that. Wish they had done all this before they started. Starting a company is a skill in itself - with so many rules and regulations. ! "I don't have an archaeological imagination.." Borekickers

Out of interest, do these regulations apply to charitable organisations?
