Here's an aerial sketch of the loo under the stairs instead. I cunningly gained the vertiginous viewpoint by standing on the sink. I wonder has John Wells ever used this technique on site?

Could you explain (in a generalised sort of fashion) what had occurred in the sink in order to necessitate the cleaning of the ceiling above it? - Please feel free to use euphemisms and circumlocutions - I want to know, but when I do I'm fairly sure I will wish I hadn't asked.
