They've been doing loads of stuff around there for years (you can't go to any of the local Archaeology Days without getting at least one talk!) so just a natural extension

Anyway, peanuts compared to what's been happening commercially at the bottom end of Swaledale for decades and ongoing (quarrying, extensions to Catterick Garrison, widening of the A1 etc)
