How is it that you are not able to discuss sensibly with 'the dc'(?), from a position of Knowledge about the archaeology and methods ? ?
Or, Do you just mean 'the dc'(?) wanted different things to you? Because that would be called oversight Marc, on behalf of the rest of us who might have interest in what you find for your client :/

Good grief, supervisors now only need 12 months experience (see current Headland job ad)....yup, obviously standards are slipping, time was when you had to have done more than that just to be an 'experienced digger'...

i was made supervisor with only 12 months in. mind you i made a couple of mistakes...........
If they can get you asking the wrong questions, they don't have to worry about answers

It is but the nature of a boom (based on banks giving money to idiots). What will also start happening is that you will do wsis for jobs but the developer won't be able to get any builders in and will string you along with it might start next week stories. People might like to consider charging booking fees. By the way Booking fees are exempt vat. Personally I think that if you have a degree (bsc) in archaeology you should direct.
