looks like it's got its place in TV history already. Comment on 'Mock The Week' tonight: 'The Royal Bank of Scotland lost £631 million because it invested all its money in 'Bonekickers' action figures'

I'll never get a job in archaeology now... everyone will be at it. It's so exciting with all those hidden chambers and explosions... almost exactly like Stonehenge Riverside Project last year! Whoever made the comment about the sword not breaking (17 pages of posts I can't recall who said it) I think you're right... its bound to be brought back now theyve got a second series.
Overall though if not taken too seriously just a bit of fun series. Though is that what the writers were really aiming for??

I played the drinking game during the last episode, and I've just sobered up. Why were they digging the grave up with shovels? What sort of archaeologically-tooled-up Landrover doesn't have a spade in it? And did she really rise hilariously up out of the lake holding a sword aloft or did I imagine that?? (Actually I saw two of her rise hilariously up out of two lakes holding two swords aloft, but I reckon that was the drinking game's fault)[xx(].

Turns out the drinking game was played by more people than watched the final episode

Yup,she actually did do the lady of the lake routine-which left me with the yearning to watch Monty Python's Holy Grail for some odd reason.
Dont know how they are going to top series 1 though-maybe excavating the pyramids on Mars?:face-huh:

I have a terrible confession that I starred in an Art College video art installation where I had to 'excavate the sky' and dig back in time. ... er... cough... and the person got a first class honours for it... so watch out for "Spaced out BAJR digs the Sky" coming to Channel 5 next year

There's always the new "Survivors" to watch, which is equally as crap.
