Dear Mr Hosty,
You do realise that poking badgers with spoons could be construed as "cruelly ill treating" tham and, unless evidence to the contrary (i.e. the badgers actually enjoy it!) is presented forthwith it may be necessary to launch a prosecution under the Protection of Badgers Act
