Thanks for all your useful comments on the Community Archaeology Forum. It was set up as something of an experiment two years ago, and I'd be the first to admit the interface isn't as easy as it could be. We'll be upgrading it this year with something much more intuitive and attractive. Our new Community Archaeology Support Officer, Suzie Thomas, is about to do a survey of community groups asking their advice on what the next CAF should look like and provide.
In the meantime, if anyone is keen to create a page (or pages) on CAF but can't get through the interface, just drop us a line (caf@britarch.ac.uk) or give us a ring (01904 671417) and we'll talk you through it. We're here to help
Dan.

Dan - looking forward to seeing and getting my teeth into a more user-friendly version. We'd love to get our stuff up there, but just haven't had the time to sit down and figure it out.
Thanks for the update!
Oh, and speaking of updates, our website has now been updated. In case anyone was interested [:I]

I didn't vote, cos I think they're all different kinds of resources and complement each other

Community Archaeology Forum [1%] 1 votes
Community Archaeology Ltd [1%] 1 votes
Shorewatch [78%] 141 votes
Greater York Community Archaeology Project [21%] 38 votes
So the clear winner is Shorewatch... well done folks.
And with the new improved website coming out later this year, I am sure they will be taking much of what was said.
Bad luck to the others. another time perhaps.
A web award button will be going to them on Monday.
Any ideas for further polls gratefully recieved.
