Good to see. Quick query, as these have been running since 2004, are these additional placements over and above the normal quota. Or the normal number. Whatever, its good stuff either way; its hard enough to stand still at the moment and not slip back.

Speaking as a 'graduate' from this scheme, I can confirm that the placements are really very, very good and well worth an application.:face-approve:

Just a quick correction - this scheme has been running since 2003. I know because I was one of the first two people to be offered one, all those years ago!! :face-stir:

The first two placements were in the EH Archaeological Survey and Investigation Team, and the scheme has expanded since then to encompass the variety and number of placements now offered . The scheme was orginally administered EH, but expanded considerably when the IFA took over the administration of the scheme a few years back, at about the time they launched their own workplace bursary scheme.

There seem to be a couple more placements this year than in previous years, but I wait to be corrected if I'm wrong.
