What's the collective noun for archaeologists?

I looked at a couple of available lists on websites (e.g.
http://www.didyouknow.org/people/collective.htm), but there doesn't seem to be one out there. This, of course, gives us total freedom to make one up.
How about 'assemblage' - or is that just too dull? :face-thinks:

I've always thought of a small group of archaeologists as a 'bucket', or possibly a 'shovelful'.
A larger group could be a 'barrowload', while a very large group (the IFA conference?) could be the 'spoil heap'.

Perhaps we should consider the collective words for folk covered in mud, folk who smoke too many tabs, drink too much Special Brew, folk who ejaculate prematurely at the sight of a pointy rock, pot sherd or chunk of beam engine. If we take the sum of all these words and rearrange them on the back of packet of Woodbines, I reckon we'll be there.
