The full minutes of the discussion regarding the Diggers Charter... This was also seen by those who went to the Diggers Forum meeting in London.

The minutes are long, and to be honest they are more like a verbatim report. Anyway, we felt it was important to allow the meeting to be open... so read on... comment... and await the charter document itself Which can be a solid document for change.

Hi David,

As you know we had the Diggers' Forum AGM a couple of weeks ago and the Committee voted to fully support your Diggers Charter. A couple of us have had positive experiences with unions- Prospect in our cases. More official support to follow...and the Minutes from our AGM will be posted up here too, but I won't hijack this thread!

Thanks for that Sadie... we need a momentum, a realisation we are the only ones who are going to make any changes, and that companies are not 'bad' per ce... and with the support of unions/staff we can all move forward. and we do need to move forward
