Sorry to say - and before anyone comments. I have left Britarch - It had become too bigoted and low... with comments on grammer and spelling, publishing private emails, personal attacks and endless arguement on detecting..

Wise move Mr Hosty - I gave up on Britarch long ago as it had become a forum for large egos to engage with each other in trivial matters.

I think David has made a rare error of judgement by saying he is not going to join in the Britarch discussions on the very day a very significant document is published and is being discussed.

Great shame, Mr Hosty, particularly as one or two of the other more thought provoking posters on there appear to be upping sticks and leaving, too
I wonder how it'll fair if it becomes a forum, rather then a mailing list though?

Have to say though, to date (Dr Wardle's contributions excepted) there has been a more interesting and knowledgable discussion of the White Paper on BAJR than on Britarch.

I should point out by the way... that the allegations I made.. were as follows:

but really it ain't worth the bother.
I was trying privately to point out that to accuse people of not doing things to the ultimate possible standards at all times is not really possible..
I resent his implications that I was somehow trying to denigrate the Polish, Americans and everyone else.. and even more so on a public forum.
Edited and removed in respect of the American team who carried out work.. as said before the private email which was used by Mr Barford was deliberately taken out of context and the content suggested to the Britarch Forum in such a way as to lead people to believe that There was a direct and vicious attack on this Team of people.
The American Team must therefore not be further dragged into a sad episode. BAJR apologies to them for any implications...and assures them that they were not the subject of critisism. Rather by the unfortunate incident, (and editing) have become involved in a public forum which was not of my doing.
I don't really want this to become a silly vendetta... just thought the truth should be out. So I hope to leave it there.
