In 2008 RCAHMS will celebrate 100 years of building a picture of Scotland's past and we want to share our rich treasure store with you. The celebrations begin with the first ever public vote to choose the nation's favourite image of the most treasured places of Scotland.
100 images have been specially selected from the collections of RCAHMS and we would like you to vote for your favourite. You can also tell us about your own treasured place if it's not in our selection.
At the end of October 2007 a shortlist of the top ten images with the most votes will be revealed. These will then compete for votes throughout November and a winner will be announced in early December. The top ten images, with a selection of comments added during the vote, will feature in a major centenary exhibition at the Edinburgh City Art Centre from October 2008 to January 2009.
