PastScape (http://www.pastscape.org.uk) is an English Heritage website which provides access to nearly 400,000 archaeological and architectural records in England. It is maintained at the National Monuments Record Centre in Swindon, and the records are derived from the AMIE (Archives and Monuments Information, England) database.
Work is in progress to make long term improvements to the site, particularly its search functionality. We would really value input from heritage professionals to inform its development. We are holding Focus Groups in various locations in January 2008. It does not matter if you havenât used the site before; we welcome all past, current and potential users!
