Sunday Times - drpeterwardle - 26th September 2006 The Sunday Times university survival guide says on page 14 says that archaeology (research professionals) earn UKP 14973 as a starting salary more than fine art or ophthalmics. Where did they get there infomation. Dr Peter (Where am I what motorway are we on what project am I working on. Its a hard life as a consultant). Sunday Times - Penfold - 26th September 2006 From a Christmas cracker perhaps? Vive La Revolution Penfold Sunday Times - Oxbeast - 26th September 2006 Maybe 14973 after two or three years might be more like it. Incidentally, still not enough to trigger student loan repayments. Bit surprised about the opthalamologists though... Sunday Times - BAJR Host - 26th September 2006 I am trying to get a quote from the Editor... they are looking into it... ) "No job worth doing was ever done on time or under budget.." Khufu Sunday Times - drpeterwardle - 30th September 2006 David, email or phone me about this I have Sunday Times contacts. They are on my client list - I used to check archaeological stories for them Dr Peter Sunday Times - stripeykelly - 2nd October 2006 OOO has anyone found out? I am intregued!! the future's bright; the future's trowel shaped Sunday Times - drpeterwardle - 4th October 2006 David, I will be in the office at the end of the week - call me about this. Peter Sunday Times - vulpes - 4th October 2006 Sounds like they should have kept on using you Peter! Sunday Times - BAJR Host - 4th October 2006 I have jsut come off the phone from Higher Education Statistics Agency (where the stats came from) they are emailing me the results.... which is nice. It seems they base the figures on people who are in full time employment who return information on pay - so a limimited or 'restricted' sample. It seems that a digger does not fit in there... so will be missed out. "No job worth doing was ever done on time or under budget.." Khufu Sunday Times - Sparky - 4th October 2006 Perhaps this is a reflection of Sunday Times readers who are archaeologists. |
