I am moving back to the Heimat shortly as I can no longer afford to feed my need for Bier and kebap in the UK. I wonder if anyone on here knows of any big jobs in Bayern? Or can you recommend any units in the Munchen/Augsburg area?
I think that this is going to be my last shot as an archaeologist (as a professional anyway)if this does not work out. We put up with a lot for crappy wages, for the love of the job. My love is wearing a little thin.
Thanks in advance,
Keller

I think Bolton Wanderers might need to be excavated after Bayern Munich bury them!

Vielen dank Genosse. Will that come with a pension? Bolton Wanderers? Never been to Bolton. The nearest I have been is watching the "Parrot Sketch". I am pretty sure Bolton is in somewhere there.
PS Frau Keller jusy asked me if a "Bolton" was anything like a "Strapon".Oh, invisible man what have you done?

I worked many years ago on the archaeological programme in advance of the Main-Donau canal - employer for this was the Bayerisches Landesamt fur Denkmalpflege.

Thank you for the tip Beamo. I will look them up and tell them you sent me. In fact I will tell them that you said they would give me a job. That will do it.
Thanks

Bier Keller,
you may also wish to to "google" commercial companies in northern Austria and Switzerland.
The Invisible Man,
the Bolton vs. Bayern game has yet to be played, given Bolton's record against top English teams in recent years the result is far from certain.
Two Wanderers supporting archaeologists will be going to the Bolton vs. Red Star game in Belgrade on the 6th of December so if the Super Whites are in need of excavating from an embarassing defeat we will be ready, trowels in hand.
Is this the right time and place to start discussing the archaeology of sporting stadia?

Austin, I was at the Reebok on 23 September - but I wasn't supporting Bolton!
