I was loving the George-Preston-Dennis-Michael and Pete bust-up last night. What fun.

Have just received one of these new trowels for the trying thereof. Many thanks Mr Hosty-will use for a week or two and will pass it on.First impressions....looks like we may just have our baby back!Feels the same.Weighs nice too. Will get down and dirty with it tommorrow. The one that I`m trying out has a traditional wooden handle-quite pleased about that cos the new one on the website looks as though it should be sold in Anne Summers.

Can I just point out that if they are now going to have separate trowels for archaeologists and whoever that new fangled thing was invented for, they need to inform the tool shops. There is only one tool shop near me that sells WHS trowels, and all the archaeologists shop there. They might not know to order the new one, or for that matter they could decide that as there aren't that many archaeologists compared to builders, that the new archaeology one isn't going to sell in large enough numbers to justify ordering it in.
