Received an e-mail from a director of the company in question on this thread. Despite knowledge to the effect that I am in the process of penning formal complaints, one of the company Directors has stated that he has placed my comments (e-mailed to the company in question) on the bajr website. I would at this juncture like to point out that said company is more than welcome to publicise my words and further, I look forward to seeing their response (if any ) in a public arena.I will continue to put together a formal complaint or two...watch this space....think I may have upset some children......

If the BBC News is to believed the ODPM has lost its planning powers in the recent reshuffle and all planning matters are now to be referred to Ruth Kelly.
Well at least she has an archaeologist in the family.

Good day Doctor Wardle- I have looked in every bajr nook and crannie-not so much as a syllable from said company.Think someone is just spouting idle threats in the hope that I may simply run away in the face of such hostility....

We all await their reply with interest...oooh cant wait....
Dont back down or back off Troll, its just bluff and bullying. I suspect that the company and its directors are on a little bit of back foot at the moment and would very much like it all to go away. But it doesnt look like it will. Hence their idle threats. The threats are probably, I suspect, because you have just exposed the tip of a very large iceberg and there is much more out there that they may be worried about and its probably not just a few employment letters to archaeologists with an IFA logo.
Good luck! Keep at it and keep digging ! !

I think it may be a misreading.. it is not that they will post on BAJR, it refers to potings on BAJR..

Did anyone see 'The Firm' last week? Tom Cruise takes down the mafia's lawyers on the petty charge of them sending letters overbilling clients...

So, Troll, if this is the tip of a large iceberg, would it not be appropriate to ask the Curator from the area in which you were working, whether the WSI and any other correspondance that surely must have been submitted for the work, was also on headed notepaper that had an IFA RAO Logo upon it? }
Oh, and I guess, if it is also appropriate, maybe you should further enquire if the WSI mentioned anything to do with their IFA RAO status.
}
I guess that there is the possibility that the Curator or in fact any other Curators from other areas could easily have been misled as you were.[:0][:0]
Or is this a job for Mr Hosty?
Good Luck
