Am currently digitising oodles of plans and storing them on Acrobat.As I am particularly blonde today-how does one group them together in files? Many thanks to all

Troll,
I guess you are using Coreldraw in which case put each drawing on a different page.
I would not rely on acrobat for archiving as the quality of the plan will dip.

Yup Pete It can depend on how you store the final acrobat file. (from press quality to web quality) and what you are storing (vector is fine but should not be only archive - but more for text.. images.... nope )
Archive standards at the moment are (so pdf is a recognised format) as long as you are using Acrobat Pro. in which case it is as simple as opening up the left hand side panel and viewing pages.. then opening up each extra pdf and dragging its litle page into the right place... OR use the make pdf -> from files and select all the files you want to bind/merge together.
Databases
Delimited ASCII, Fixed width ASCII SQL definitions and setups,Access, Dbase FoxPro, Paradox
Images
TIF BMP Vector files DXF, SHP, EPSE00, DWG
Texts
ASCII, SGML RTF, HTML, PDF

There was a point there when I thought about brass-rubbing the plans at 1:1 wiv a crayon and goin home....
