I only saw the one yesterday but I thought it was truly awful. Bad attempts at fake surprise (Charterhouse dig), trying to make two shreds of pottery really exciting, some bad presenting, what else can I say?? I don't think we learned anything new or exciting. As a piece of TV, it was dull to watch and as a piece of archaeology, it was even worse. The sites at Llandelio were potentially interesting but the time wasn't spent on them.

I despaired watching it yesterday, I really did. The experiments carried out might have been of more interest and value if they were properly conducted/carried out but the whole impression I got from the problem was one of hurriedness. Anyone else feel this way?
