They clearly didn't learn many lessons from the last Big Dig, which was a complete disaster. They don't seem to have much DIY archaeology by the public this year though, which is an improvement. I'm all for community archaeology but not the brand done by those muppets with no resources to back up their promises.

On a related note, I'd like to see County Mounties who sell their souls (and their regions archaeology) to get on TV with Crime Team publicly flogged. Then again maybe the public humiliation is enough, because they never come across well on the show.
