Relax Gemma, you'll have a great time at Castell Henllys. I was there some years ago. No-one will shout at you or make you do anything you can't do, and you'll get to have a go at all sorts of things, and you'll be shown how to do them (none of them are difficult anyway!). As long as you're keen and do your best you'll be fine: if you have a go and mess it up, no-one minds, it's a training dig. Skiving off to the loo for two hours or kipping ina barrow tends to annoy though! The camp site is a good laugh, food is good - I watched the 98 World Cup Final in the marquee, on a portable on a stepladder. The director is a really nice bloke, who makes sure he knows everyone's name - a little thing that impressed me. The scenery is superb, there are coach trips to Pentre Ifan and similar stuff (one is up a bloody great hill be warned!).
There used to be a local pro who comes in as 2nd in commend, he's really good and can teach you a lot. Forgotten his name though.
It's a 40 minute walk to the pub though!
Blimey, at this rate I'll be going back for another go myself......
Today, Bradford. Tomorrow, well, Bradford probably.
