The IFAâs 25th anniversary conference is taking place at the University of Reading on 2 â 4 April, 2007.
Bursaries are available to members of the IFA and/or the IFA Diggersâ Forum* in order to provide financial assistance towards the costs of attendance for those who would otherwise be unable to participate. Awards typically include the payment of registration fees for attendance on one or more days and a contribution towards travel expenses.
The provision of bursaries and the nature and extent of assistance in any given case is in the discretion of the IFA and is dependent upon other demands upon the Bursary Fund.
Applications for bursaries should be made in writing to Alex Llewellyn, The Institute of Field Archaeologists, SHES, The University of Reading, Whiteknights, PO Box 227, Reading, RG6 6AB (alex.llewellyn@archaeologists.net 0118 378 6446) and should identify the grounds for the application.
