I am sure there are many that would. they do have good conditions for permanent staff.
I would hope that the advert was clearer about what the person would be getting.. it would be worth checking. It is what I do. Just to make sure there is no confusion. }
The IfA are worried I am undermining the JIS this is not ny intention at all. Rather making a point of order that responsibility for paid adverts relies upon ensuring all is fine, and helping clients find suitable wording if needed. (as I have a couple of times in the past week) The paying client is often very grateful to have this pointed out.
I would continue to agree that BAJR and JIS are complimentary services and useful resources for all those seeking archaeological work. I am ever hopeful that the JIS takes a different line than "the JIS that we do not control the content of the adverts published in the bulletin"
It is difficult to take a principled stand with a commercial service such as BAJR
