Who me? :p Nah, too old and tired now..... I genuinely think people should consider the hours they're working. I also think that people ought to READ their contracts - if they are even given one! That's the biggest problem in archaeology I think - people aren't given their contracts or don't know what's in them. Often, organisations work on the principle of 'we've always done it like this - doesn't everyone? - so you'll do it this way too'. Very difficult to work out the implications of taking a job if you don't know about stuff like working hours, travel time etc. (e.g. just because your last job was ?x for a 37.5 hour week, this one might be ?x for a 42 hour week - if it doesn't state the working week in the advert, ASK!)
