Am not sure your 'get rich quick, have a nest egg for later (maybe to buy a car....?)' is too popular these days (although I wholeheartedly agree), I've had jobs where people have been moping around in the accommodation over the weekend complaining about being broke, but when I've organised them some overtime no one has been interested (would rather spend their time wingeing than doing something about it), so I don't bother any more
