Not so implausible if it's made of not-so-fertile soil (like the hilly areas visible outside the irrigated fields/farms in the photos) given the weather in that part of South America. It's one of the driest areas on the planet, so if people avoided farming it then it could easily retain its shape for hundreds or thousands of years. Interpretation of shape and purpose is another question... I thought one of them was a giant ladle when I squinted. Must be something to do with the Big Dipper!
