To give you an idea of what you should expect from the UK, check out this example from Tarrant Hinton in Dorset - "...one of the finest examples of painted wall plaster to survive in Britain" (as at 2006):

As you can see, it's pretty tiny and reconstructed from fragments. I'm afraid it's slim pickings for your specialism in the UK and it might be worth widening your remit if you can.
