Having worked for them [i]once [/i]several years ago, I can say that their approach to H&S was essentially criminally negligent: Excavation in a public park, 4m deep through brick rubble, unbattered, unshored, left overnight with....four traffic cones and a bit of slack rope to stop people falling in. If someone had fallen in (oddly the place was swarming with kids and punters), then aside from being a completely avoidable accident, imagine the bad publicity? They have the money to set an example and should do so.
This has hopefully all changed, now back to knee pads...
