Thanks Jean - I like your site too. Funnily enough British Archaeology came out today and my hit rate dropped. Not entirely what I was expecting. . . :face-huh:

Must say I thought you'd have to prepare for a bit of a surge, but it is August. Every year my site sees least traffic in summer and that is normal for most websites. The exceptions tend to be those serving holiday-makers one way or another. Many people who subscribe to BA won't actually be at home to read it immediately. Others will pick it up from the shops as and when they see it. I didn't see it in WH Smith's yesterday. I'll get when it's on the shelf to buy. Others may not buy till they get back from holiday. So maybe you'll get more of a trickle than a surge.
