Absolutley brilliant time.. though I spent half my time selling trowels.. [:I]

it was great to meet some brilliant people telling thier stories of how archaeology changed the communityies.. and how they took control of their own projects.. watch out for some cracking stuff later...

ps... big hello to lolabun and Cait brilliant to meet you... a bit of a thrill to meet BAJRites face to face.. :face-approve: cool!

I too had a BRILLIANT time at the conference - was so interesting and had fantastic information and guidance for anyone wanting to start up their own community group. The break out sessions/workshops were partically interesting - the 'onsite interpretation' workshop genreated some interesting discussion - people debating what worked and what didnt.

More of these please is all I can say... peo[ple enjoying themselves and talking.. about what they WILL do, rather than the normal conference fare of what would be nice to have happened..

I totally agree - this conference highlighted the sucessful results and headway these projects are making with the cultural heritage resource
